SEN Teaching Assistant Work Available Immediately in Erith

A large SEN school near Erith are recruiting for a teaching assistant with SEN experience to join their friendly and dedicated staff team as soon as possible. The available role is to move between different classes as a ‘floating TA’, covering absences and providing extra support as and when required. The role will be temporary through the agency to begin with, however there is opportunity to secure a permanent role with the school for a suitable candidate.

This school have both primary and secondary students, so you must be flexible in terms of the age groups you will be working with. The students have a range of moderate learning difficulties, including mild to severe autism.

The role:

* Full time role, 08:30am – 15:30pm, Monday to Friday
* ‘Floating TA’ role – you will be supporting different children in different classes throughout the day and must be able to support Maths, English and ICT up to foundation GCSE
* You will be providing both group and 1:1 support, for children with autism
* It will be beneficial if you are already able to use PECs and/or Makaton
* Daily pay rate is �55 - �70 per day, dependent on experience, qualifications and performance
