Teaching Personnel are pleased to be working in partnership with a Multi Academy Trust who are seeking an innovative Science teacher to join their growing community. You should be a passionate lifelong learner who is hardworking and enthusiastic with excellent subject knowledge. You will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in the subject area of Science. The successful applicant will be prepared to share their practice with colleagues and fully contribute to their fantastic in-house programme of continuing professional development.

The students take pride in their schools, have a good work ethic and are keen to do their very best. Their learners are respectful, polite and work hard to develop into resilient young adults of who the trust is proud of.

The trust is committed to enabling all learners, irrespective of their current attainment, to achieve. As an organisation we have adopted a ‘growth mind-set’ and introduced a monitoring culture to help develop all learners. Pupils are encouraged to participate in a range of extra-curricular activities, outings and competitions throughout the year. The Trust employs Academic Achievement Tutors to support GCSE subject teachers to raise attainment and ensure that students are able to reach their potential.

The ability to teach A Level is not a requirement but for suitable candidates there may be the opportunity to do so. An ability to teach another subject would be an advantage. Candidates are encouraged to address this issue in their covering statement.

The role is based at their Gosport School.

Applications from suitably experienced professionals and NQTs are most welcome. The trust operates a fantastic NQT programme, one of the very best in the county.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
