As our UK HR Manager you will ta ke responsibility for the Employee Relations service provision to all UK departments within West. Reporting into a passionate and energetic HR Director, you will lead the ER team consisting of a Senior HR Officer and HR Officer; taking responsibility for UK employment law matters including complex and escalated case-work, TUPE and investigations. You will inspire those around you through your extensive knowledge, professional approach and leadership skills, while proactively working with your management group to deliver value-added HR services in line with the needs and priorities of the business. The role is full-time and fixed term for a period of 8 months to provide maternity cover, ideally starting for training and a full handover on 18 th June 2018. EXPERIENCE... Along with a wealth of HR experience - especially in complex case management and the full spectrum of ER; we are seeking somebody with the drive and urgency to perform well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Our business is fast-paced and commercially focused, so you will be naturally goal-orientated to drive the team to achieve business and department objectives. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to build robust relationships based on trust and respect, while delivering clear, concise HR advice. You will not waiver in the face of a challenge and you won’t be afraid to take risks where appropriate. You will be an optimist, show initiative and bring fresh ideas to the team. As you will be supporting remote teams across a range of business units, you will have an independent and flexible approach, while remaining confident and persistent in achieving shared goals.
