Job Title: Performance Manager – Retail Telecoms

Salary: Up to £46,500 depending on skills and experience
12 Month Fixed Term Contract. Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available

The Role

Retail Telecoms has built a sizeable business over the course of the last 10 years, building a reputation for offer great value services with exceptional customer service. The ambition over the coming years is to accelerate that growth even further to become one of the major telecoms retailers in the UK.

As the Performance Manager within Retail Telecoms, you will help drive trading performance ensuring that we maximise revenue and margin on both our individual customer basis and overall. You will play an important role in bringing key commercial functions together, i.e. Sales, Retention, Marketing, Pricing and Propositions to name a few, in order to deliver a commercial strategy that ensures we delight our customers as we deliver against our commercial targets.

Some of your other main accountabilities will include;

*Key trading metrics within the telecoms business.
*Providing input in the monthly and quarterly business performance review packs, whilst coordinating and liaising with heads of department across various business functions within the virtual team
*Deputising for the Head of Profitability and Performance when required
*Support commercial planning, forecasting, budgeting and target setting.
*Liaising with key stakeholders ensuring business activities are in line with strategic goals.
*The scoping, development, implantation and delivery of key projects.
*Bringing people together and making them accountable for performance, ensuring that everyone is working to the same plan.

The role is based in Reading, however we are happy to discuss flexible working patterns with you and the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will come from a background of working in fast paced, consumer focused organisations.
Impressive analytical, numerical and communication skills will be essential for this role, as is the gravitas to build and maintain strong working relationships with varying levels of stakeholders throughout the business. Project Management and planning skills will be necessary and you’ll be comfortable using both data and insight as part of your decision making.

Anything else?

Yes – the ability to take people on a journey and show them what good looks like will be critical to this role, even when it means going against well established practices. You’ll not be afraid to challenge with a ‘can do’ approach and encourage new ways of working to overcome obstacles. This is a demanding role, but with plenty of rewards, so we are looking for a proactive, self starter who prides themselves on being a strong team player and can interject a sense of humour when needed. You’ll be a quick thinker and fast learner with high levels of integrity who delivers on their promises.
