My client school in South Manchester are looking to appoint a youth work graduate to work within their alternative provision starting in September. The role would involve taking on the main responsibilities of a teaching assistant, with additional responsibilities working with pupils who require additional support and educational focus.

This school caters for pupils in KS3 and KS4 who have social, emotional and mental health needs in south Manchester. This school has around 50 pupils on roll and majority of pupils follow the National Curriculum, taking on GCSE’s once reaching KS4.

This school has a supportive staff team, who are all happy to help. The school run CPD courses every two weeks which will enhance your school based knowledge.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
