Mental health staff Nurse should be able to promotes and restore patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with Psychiatrist and Multidisciplinary professional staff; providing care and treatment through clear clinical pathways in line with care planning, risk assessment and support.

 

Post Requirements:

 

Must hold Nursing and Midwifery Council registration (evidence of PIN no will be required).

 

Must be a member of Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG formerly Enhanced Disclosure) with Disclosure Scotland.  We will require evidence of your original PVG Scheme Record.

 

Must be able to account for at least last 5 years employment history, including explanation of any gaps.

Package descriptionAs a registered nurse you will have a minimum of 6 to 12 months nursing experience, and be passionate about delivering person centre care. You will have current NMC registration, up to date clinical practices and evidence of continual professional development. You will provide excellent clinical support and supervision to your team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the service.

You will be given support and training to develop your clinical skills and management skills, including opportunities to gain qualifications at Masters level. We offer a quality work/life balance that is second to none.
