An experienced public sector procurement professional is required to join a Coventry based housing association for a period of 5 months. Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager, the role will be to carry out a range of procurement activities on behalf of the organisation, including managing end to end tenders, gathering supplier information, ensure new suppliers meet minimum requirements and deliver the supplier management policy that is set out in the procurement strategy.

You will need to have previous experience within a public sector environment as a knowledge of public sector regulations is required. In addition to this you will need to be able to demonstrate experience of supplier relationship management as well as the ability to develop procurement strategies and reports and deliver documentation in line with legislation. You will have strong communication skills and be able to manage stakeholder relationships and develop supplier management strategies
