REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

35-40K + 50K OTE + Company Car + Mobile + Lap Top + Pension + 25 Day Holiday

THE COMPANY

Well established as a market leader in the manufacture of special purpose machinery for the food sector, this business has as impressive portfolio of blue chip clients. As a result of heavy investment by their multi-billion pound owners the business has grown turnover by 50% in the last 5 years. On order to maintain their track record of double digit growth, the business is now looking to add an extra Regional Sales Manager to the team.

THE ROLE

As a Regional Sales Manager you role will be:

* To cover everything north of Nottingham including Scotland
* You will inherit a patch that is currently generating 600K, your target will be to grow it by 10% each year
* You will be selling into the food and pet food sectors.
* Sales of capital equipment as well as consumables and service contracts
* Build strong relationships with the existing accounts, whilst being proactive, networking cross site.
* Looking for new business opportunities as well as following up on leads generated by the internal sales team.
* Dealing with production, maintenance engineers/ managers, chief engineers, project manager, up to director level, discussing the challenges they face and what engineered solutions you can provide
* Attending exhibitions

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Regional Sales Manager will have:

* Technical sales experience, this could be either field based or office.
* Ideally an engineering qualification
* A passion for selling technical products into engineers
* Good relationship building skills.
