An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching Assistant in Salisbury. This SEN school caters for pupils between the ages of 4-16 with SLD, PMLD, ASC and associated difficulties.

Your responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant are as follows:

* Support and encourage students to engage in learning activities
* Promote good behaviour
* Assist with the supervision of students during off-site activities
* Be an effective role model for the standards of behaviour expected of students
* When required, undertake duties in connection with personal hygiene

As your role will involve working with vulnerable young people with various needs, it is essential you have experience supporting young people with behavioural or learning difficulties.

You will have:

* The ability to support pupils during on site and off site activities
* A flexible approach to work
* A confident but caring nature

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
