KS1 TEACHING ASSISTANT

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant for a local primary school based in Brixton.

The school believes opportunities create options and choices for children. That’s why they challenge every pupil, parent and teacher with high expectations to provide a learning environment help each child develop individually to reach their maximum potential on the pathway toward achieving their personal dreams and goals.

The School is looking for teaching assistants for all key stages but KS1 preferred and are happy to negotiate your preferred year groups depending on experience. They are really keen to seen suitable candidates and would like to arrange trial days/ interviews ASAP.

To be considered for this role you must : -

* Have relevant teaching assistant experience (1 year or more ideally)
* Have enthusiastic and a pro-active approach towards learning.
* Be confident in supporting literacy and numeracy groups.
* Be prepared to help with playground and lunch time duties.
* Be able to assist prepare teaching materials.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
