To meet and maintain company quality standards in line with the T&C scheme and the Society’s values and behaviours framework, ensuring Financial Planning Consultants are focussed on delivering exceptional customer service. To provide assurance to the Society that the Financial Planning Consultants have the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out work-related tasks, to ensure that the supervisory requirements of the T&C Scheme are adhered to at all times.

Main responsibilitiesBeing part of the Quality Assurance function means that you will be providing assurance to the society, and in turn the regulator, that our customer interactions are of the expected and appropriate standard.

As a Quality Supervisor you will be expected to monitor, support and offer guidance to our Financial Planning Consultants ensuring there is no suggestion of implied or explicit advice given to our customers. This will add value to our customer proposition and service expectation, ensuring the right approach is taken during these meetings.

In addition you will also be looking at root cause analysis whilst designing and implementing relevant, suitable and appropriate training solutions for individual colleagues. With customers being at the heart of everything we do this role is pivotal in the ongoing improvement of our service delivery.
Ideal candidateHaving a back ground in financial services is a must as you will be offering support to both new and experienced consultants alike. An understanding of financial governance and business practices will also be needed as is the want to work for and represent the Society at all times.  Experience in a coaching and development role would be an advantage as would experience in a regulated environment. In addition you must be happy to work towards the R01 and R02 modules of your Diploma in Financial planning, which is fully funded by the Society, with the opportunity to complete the Diploma in full should you so wish.
