Working inside of IR35 for a large Public Sector organisation, as Programme Management Officer, you will provide expert PMO function management skills to ensure that all aspects of the PMO operate to the maximum of their capabilities i.e. Grip and Control and the Discipline of capturing, updating and reporting the prescribed data on all proposals and agreed saving schemes. This role will also support and service the related governance regime.

You will also be responsible for designing, implementing, (including delivery of related training) and maintenance of the organisations PID documentation and related process’s including responsibility for full deployment and utilisation. There will be a similar responsibility for the establishment of the CIP tracker and related regular updates and reporting.

This role is pivotal in facilitating the delivery of the organisations Grip and Control strategy and will require the post holder to:

1. Have a sound understanding of the general context and the critical importance of successful delivery of the PMO agenda

2. Take an active role in developing and fine tuning the PID, QIA and Tracker systems and processes.

3. Be exceptionally well disciplined, ensuring the PMO project management approach is comprehensively, and uniquely deployed

4. Bring first class process management and discipline skills to support the above

5. Be adept at ensuring risks are properly identified and where appropriate are escalated to the PMO Director / Transformation Board.

This role is to start ASAP and will pay between £15 – £20 + HP/Pension PAYE or £17 - £25 Umbrella / deemed ltd per hour depending on your level of experience.
