A Teaching Assistant is needed in an SEN School in Croydon to supervise a Key stage 2 child with ASD, ADHD and behaviour of a challenging nature. Your role will entail providing support during lessons to give the child a greater chance of developing their skills and supervise the child during their play time and breaks. You must have previous experience working in an Sen School or working with children on the Autism spectrum. Safeguarding training is essential.

This is a full time position, therefore you must be available full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm. The pay is �56 - �75 a day.

The school is a very well known school that caters to primary and secondary aged pupils. The pupils are aged 3 - 16 years old - they are all are on the Autism spectrum and have a mixture of needs, such as SEMH, and MLD. The classes vary in size, so you will have to be able to provide support to small groups when necessary.

What you will need in order to be considered:

* Experience working with children with special needs.
* Immediate, full time, availability.
* A DBS on the updated service, or be willing to complete one asap.
* Have completed training relevant to this position (first aid, moving and handling, safeguarding, Makaton, PECS are desirable but not essential).
* Excellent references from previous employment.
