About the role

English Language or Literature Teacher

Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)

5 days a week

Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role

Creating informative lessons to encourage students to enjoy learning in line with the National Curriculum

The school expect the incoming teachers to assist student learning

There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student’s work

The ability to run extra-curricular activities and teach languages would strengthen the candidates application


The school is accessible via South Greenford underground (15 minute walk).


A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching English Literature and Language at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
