ALE’s continued development and position within the renewables and particularly the wind industry, is expanding.

Central to this divisions development is the role of the Business Administrator in supporting the management team. As Business Administrator for Wind, you will play a vital role in helping to ensure that the key needs of our ALE Wind Services managers and people are supported in database management, recruitment administration, finance & payroll administration, training records co-ordination, travel co-ordination & bookings and other general administration. 

The main objective of our division is to move skilled and experienced people of various nationalities around the world to execute fast track projects (2-6 months) in developing markets. Therefore communication with the local branch staff in different countries will be required.

This is a new opportunity to take one of the most influential markets and realise ALE’s ambitions.

Main responsibilitiesGeneral Business Administration

Ensure within the confines of the role that the management team are operating lawfully and ethically.
Keep required databases and systems up to date as appropriate.
Assist in co-ordination of purchase requests and other finance activities as required.
Co-ordinate staff timesheets and recording of hours for payroll purposes (3+ payroll regions).
Record keeping - incl. annual leave requests
Organise and co-ordinate travel arrangements for the division using agreed processes and procedures. 

Global engagement & communication

Supporting the co-ordination of staffing of projects in developing markets with employees from various countries.
Ensure timely and successful visa process application
Interact with HR and finance staff in our local subsidiaries in regard to recruitment and staff relocation etc... 
Assist with any recruitment activities as needed

Engagement & Recognition

Ensure staff are encouraged to attend performance reviews and career planning sessions.

Training and development

Divisional training coordination ensuring staff are aware of training requirements.
Record keeping of training conducted and planned
Overseeing departmental training matrices and management thereof

Ideal candidate




A degree or similar qualification in Business Administration or similar. 



At least 5 years in previous business admin role in an international business. 
Experience in dealing with blue and white collar workforce
Experience of financial and/or HR administration.


A background within a global construction or logistics organisation.
