To develop an understanding and therapeutic relationship with the service users in your care and to encourage them to live as fulfilled and independent lives as possible. The pay rate will be between £7.83 and £10.50 per hour depending on numerous factors. We are looking for Support Workers to join an already fantastic team that promotes independence to adults with learning disabilities, and you could be a part of this! Responsibilities of the role: Engaging service users in activities both within and outside of the home Monitor the health and well being of all service users within the home Play a key role in the development of a person centred plan for your key individual Requirements to be considered for this role: NVQ level 2 Health and Social Care - preferable but not essential Experience in challenging behaviour Ability to show initiative, be willing to work flexibly and to keep an open mind A passion to help vulnerable children A compassionate nature This position will be based around the Stockport, Knutsford, and Cheshire areas, however, if you live within the North West and are interested in this sort of role please do get in touch as we may have other similar positions within your area.
