PE teacher – Bolton

A vacancy has arisen for a full-time qualified PE teacher at a client school of Teaching Personnel due to a member of staff who is about to go on maternity leave ahead of September. The school are looking to recruit a PE teacher initially on a 12 month basis from September.

* Full time PE teacher - September 2018 start
* Ofsted graded Good secondary school
* Pay in line with MPS and UPS scale (�22,917 - �38,633)
* Teaching PE to students in KS3 and KS4
* 12 month maternity cover

The successful teacher must be able to teach PE to GCSE level and will be required to carry out the role of a permanent member of staff. The head of department is looking for somebody who will be confident teaching PE to students ranging in abilities.

You will be joining a school where students have a positive attitude towards Physical education however you must be capable of motivating students who otherwise may struggle to engage with the subject. With this in mind we are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic teachers, who can plan, prepare and carry out engaging lessons, as well as manage and attend sporting events and promote an all-round healthy lifestyle at the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
