What are we looking for?

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will provide direction, support and advice to line management, in arrangements and practices for managing safety and health risks to employees, contractors and members of the public. The successful candidate would provide constructive feedback to both BU line management and S&H line manager and play a key role as part of the S&H team in helping to develop and deliver the company's S&H Strategy.

It is a real opportunity to provide an increased level of guidance and support to line management, as part of the Company S&H Strategy. With broad exposure to the BU operational teams within the region, there is an opportunity to continue to develop and nurture an industry-leading safety management culture, where S&H is an embedded core value and the "way things are done".

The Ideal Health and Safety Advisor:

The candidate would ideally have NEBOSH, NVQ Level 5, QCF Level 7 and membership of IOSH preferred; clear and credible knowledge with experience in a similar position. This is a unique opportunity to impact and shape the S&H performance of all businesses within the region.
