What we are looking for?

Having come from a non educational background this pupil has never been in a classroom for more than term. The school in the past term has noticed a trend of the pupil’s attendance dropping below an acceptable standard and are now seeking a positive role model to emphasise the importance of education.

The school are in no doubt that the pupil has the ability to perform well academically but lacks the inspiration to put in the effort that is need. In saying this: the behaviour mentor should have a track record of getting pupils to engage in lessons, form positive relationships and inevitably increase school attendance.

Experience working with challenging behaviour

* Previous experience working in schools
* Willing to apply for a DBS certificate
* Teaching Qualifications
* Background in youth work

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
