Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of their client Secondary school based in Salford, Greater Manchester; require a highly motivated, engaging and committed Teacher of Religious Education (RE) for September 2018, for the full academic year.

The successful RE teacher can expect to join a hard working, supportive staff team, as part of the growing school community consistently working towards achieving excellence.

* Full time Teacher of RE role, September 2018 – Salford.
* Must hold QTS.
* Excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
* NQT’s will receive full support throughout their induction year and guidance from their dedicated mentor.
* Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Secondary school.
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS �22,917 - �38,633.

The incoming Teacher of RE will be required to;

* To prepare and teach appropriate RE lessons in accordance with the policies of the school and the department using appropriate RE resources.
* Encourage pupils to achieve the highest standards of work possible.
* Maintain good order and discipline among students and to safeguard their health and safety at all times when they are the responsibility of the school.

This growing secondary school, with just under 800 pupils on roll, aged 11-16, is perfectly located to be accessed via the M602. There are also numerous public transport links for those who do not drive.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
