A client Primary school in Whalley Range, Manchester (M16) is seeking a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to work in their larger than average, 3 form entry Primary School. To be considered for this position, you will have experience supporting children with a range of SEN and will have an open and flexible approach to supporting children with a range of special educational needs.

The position will be to work across the school with 3 identified children who need additional in class and 1:1 support. All 3 children are in KS2 and work from IEPs. The school would benefit from a confident teaching assistant who is able to implement strong behaviour management techniques. Team Teach training would be desirable but isn’t essential.

The post will start in September and will run for the full academic year. The school are looking to appoint for a permanent SEN Teaching Assistant to work across the school so the opportunity to work on a school based contract may be possible for the right candidate.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
