It is a pleasure to be working with this client who has a great reputation both brand and internally. My client works in the fashion industry and what they are working on now will be in the shops in Spring! We are recruiting for a dynamic supervisor who has a strong background in customer services, distribution and export (although export is not essential). You will be able to demonstrate getting the best out of your team, motivating them and ensuring all the customer orders are on track to be dispatched on time. My client's customers may be an individual consumer to a national retailer, so no day is ever the same, the day will fly by in this very busy department. You must be able to demonstrate your supervisory skills and the ability to keep calm in a pressurised environment. You will be the main point of contact for the account directors and the distribution centre as well as the senior management team, taking responsibility for your team, the KPI's and the customer experience is essential. The company is proud of their customer service reputation and getting it right first time is important to them. *Supporting and managing a team of 5 customer service advisors *Updating reports that different departments access with agreed deadlines *Dealing with escalated complaints *Liaising with the warehouse daily with order statuses and special delivery information *Investigate discrepancies and report back findings *Delegate invoices queries to the team and follow up issues *Support the team with cover for any absences when required You will report to the Operations Director. The ideal candidate will come from a sales environment where the customer has choices to buy elsewhere. Will have managed a small team and are passionate about the customer having the best experience and will want to buy again from you. Strong administration skills including attention to detail, advance user of excel and other Microsoft packages. Ability to make decisions and a good team player. Export and a European language would be an advantage. This is a maternity cover 6-12 months. You must be available to start work before the end of July. There will be first and possibly second stage interviews for this role. Our client is offering a fantastic place to work, technical and manual training to support you and a 2-4-week handover. The salary on offer is £20,000-£23,000 DOE, free parking, 28 days holiday including Bank, pension. HOURS of work 37.5 Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 18.30 on rota.
