The Company

A national contactor, with offices based in the North West, are actively looking for an experienced Site Manager due to growth in the business and multiple staff having holidays booked over the summer months. This house builder are looking to achieve a turnover of £45m this year and will have 21 live sites at any one time through the financial year. This House Builder develop properties for the affordable housing sector and will be looking to deliver specific house types to clients moving forward, enabling the company to achieve increasing targets over the next 5 years.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, your role will include the following:

* The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, subcontractors, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
* Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
* Production of weekly reports against forecast
* Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures

To be a successful Site Manager within this role, you will have a strong background in completing new build housing projects whether that is affordable or open market and will have a bias towards affordable housing. In addition you will be immediately available to start a contract as soon as possible and be happy to commit to holiday cover contracts.

To qualify for this position the successful Site Manager must possess the following:

* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Trade background or relevant degree qualifications (Or equivalent)
* Experience on large developments of 100+ Units
* NHBC Awards – desirable.

The Important Details

This is a freelance opportunity to support on sites in place of permanent Site Managers. Due to the rapid growth of the business, this contractor have additional sites starting across the North West and this may well open up permanent opportunities within the business for you to apply for.
