We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our small and friendly HR team based in Leatherhead.

Main responsibilitiesThis is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to build their HR experience with a view to a long term career.

We are a small and busy in-house HR and Learning & Development team within a leading provider of residential support to adults and children with learning disabilities and associated needs.  This is a perfect for someone who wants to work for a company making a difference in peoples' lives.

Your responsibilities will be to support the HR team with the following:


Provide a professional HR administrative service to HR and L&D Team, CMG Managers and CMG Regional Directors.

On boarding and off boarding of new starters/leavers.

Lead on providing administrative support on short and long term sickness absences. Liaise with HR team and Home managers with issuing letters and processing monthly absence reports and offering advice.

Create, maintain and store current electronic and manual HR records in accordance with GDPR

Ensure that the HR system is compliant with data protection legislation and requirements by external governing bodies such as CQC.

Have a basic understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.

Provide support with minute taking at formal HR meetings for example grievances & disciplinary meetings.

Undertake and participate in ad hoc HR projects as agreed with the HR Team.

Deal with email and telephone enquiries in a timely manner.

Run regular HR reports and management information as required.

Support the HR team with ad-hoc requirements. For example;

References
Right to work checks (VISA eligibility)
General administration
Change of details
Leavers
Maternity/Paternity
Probation.
Training fine letters

Manage the employee benefit scheme.

Provide administrative support with TUPE transfers.

Ideal candidateWe are looking for an enthusiastic team player, professional and able to work under pressure as required.  You will have a high and diverse workload and therefore excellent organisational skills are a must.

You may already have experience in HR, and be looking to further your knowledge and experience, or be just starting out in the HR arena and looking to gain the skills needed to be part of a first class HR team.  

Excellent communication and literacy skills are also required.
