Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Physical Education teaching assistant on behalf of a client school located in Bolton.

If you are a Physical Education graduate looking to pursue a career in education, this is the ideal opportunity to gain the essential experience required to prepare you prior to starting a teacher training course.

* Assisting with a range of PE lessons as well as providing support in other subject areas

* Opportunity to lead Physical Education lessons and a variety of other lessons in the absence of teachers

* You can expect to earn �1000-1200 a month

Due to a shortage within their support department, this high achieving secondary school in Bolton wish to appoint a Physical Education graduate to work as a versatile teaching assistant.

As a Physical Education teaching assistant within this school you will be required to support teachers prepare lessons as well as have an involvement within the deliver. You will have responsibility for taking warm up drills in Physical Education and you will be expected to deliver certain activities to classes.

Within this role the incoming teaching assistant will also be required to provide support to other departments such as; Maths, English, Science and Humanities. You will have the opportunity to lead lessons yourself with the guidance of other members of staff, alongside providing 1:1 support with pupils who require additional support within their studies.

Located in Farnworth, bordering Bolton and Salford area this is a school that serves a diverse catchment area. This is an excellent school where pupils are well behaved and have a good attitude to learning. Previous teaching within catholic secondary schools is not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
