Religious Education Teacher – Bolton

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Religious Education teacher to join their humanities department ahead of September due to a member of staff going on maternity leave.

This is a rare opportunity to join a Roman Catholic school that have a fantastic Humanities department which consistently achieves excellent results!

* Religious Education Teacher – 12 maternity cover

* You will require QTS and a PGCE specialising in Religious education

* The school welcome applications from Religious Education teachers of all experience levels (NQT’s and experienced teachers)

* Pay is inline with MPS and UPS pay scale (�22,917 - �38,633)

The incoming Religious Education teacher will hold a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE and will be confident in there teaching to students of all abilities. Having the ability to teach engaging lessons will be extremely advantageous as the school are looking for somebody who can increase the interactivity between teacher and students in class. This is a school where relationships between staff and students are excellent and most lessons are stimulating and enjoyable.

The school is a relatively small school with around 860 students on roll. Located in Bolton, in the Horwich area, the school is just a short drive from the M61 motorway; alternatively the public transport links are very accessible to the surrounding areas, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester and Wigan.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
