Sales Executive

Location: London area

Salary: �30,000 - �35,000 DOE plus first year commission of a further �35k. OTE �70k+

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Our client provides a cloud-hosted tool for improving the quality, estimation and delivery of software projects. The tool analyses written requirements or user stories to deliver insight covering potential defects, improvement suggestions and functional size estimates that can be used to make software projects more successful. It's unique, patent-pending technology that intelligently finds potential software bugs 100 times faster than humans.

They are looking to develop the business (Est 1996). You will need to be able to operate independently, work virtually and lead the sales & marketing activities of the company.

The Sales Executive Role

They are looking for an ambitious sales person who will spearhead the sales activities.

Duties of the Sales Executive:

* You will be selling to businesses, mainly to senior QA managers, software project managers and their teams. There will also be some C-level sales opportunities
* Generating new and repeat business
* Working to targets, in a competitive sales environment
* Open and close deals over the phone
* Managing your pipeline and new prospects
* To deliver the effective management of an existing customer base within the UK and Ireland.
* To increase the market potential of the product offering within the UK
* To assist the aftermarket department and provide technical support to end users where the need may arise
* To carry out targeted visits to new and existing end users; ensuring positive and lasting relations
* To offer demonstrations, training and product marketing presentations to the existing and potential customer base.
* To collect and report feedback from the market on customer development; product satisfaction and competitive activity.
* To contribute ideas on future product development based on in territory experience.
* To oversee improvements in the management of aftersales business
* To realise monthly sales objectives by achieving the anticipated turnover and other specific KPI targets.
* To contribute to improving the business and enhancing the company by making new suggestions and implementing change when requested to do so.

The ideal Sales Executive will need the following skills and experience:

* Two years' experience within Sales
* You are intelligent and have an appetite for learning
* Strong Customer support to provide the correct client with the relevant information
* Ideally educated to degree level
* Have a full UK driving license and a car
* Building Rapport with key decision makers
* Confident telephone manner with the ability to combine Advisory and Sales skills sets.
* You have a track record of selling technology based solutions B2B.
* You are energetic and know how to sell
* You are very well organised
* You are a natural and articulate communicator
* You are a relationship builder
* You are self-motivated and can work independently
* Experience in B2B software sales
