Permanent job as a SENCO in a central Tameside based Primary School I am working with the Head teacher of a 2 form entry 'GOOD' school with ‘OUTSTANDING’ leadership in Tameside. The head teacher is looking for a Qualified SENCo to start with them on a permanent basis in September. You will need to be a Qualified Teacher as part of the role will be teaching in the mornings with 8 SEN pupils. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating 5/10 support staff. The school is based in the heart of Tameside; the school is a large modern school with two floors. They believe that the long term benefit that their pupils gain from this is inspirational so it is important that you enjoy outdoor learning. The staff team at this school are very close, they are welcoming, inclusive and offer an incredible amount of support. Working with fellow teachers and staff, the key responsibilities of this of role include:

* Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school's special education policy
* Co-ordinating provision of policies
* Co-ordinating 5 to 10 support staff
* Communicating with parents of children with special educational needs
