SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy in North London

Are you a passionate individual looking to work with pupils in Special Needs? Do you have experience working in an SEN setting?

If you have answered yes to the above questions this role could be for you.

As an SEN teaching assistant, you will be working closely with pupils with a range of complex needs. Pupils will tend to be dealing with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties.

The school offer a curriculum that aims to cater to the needs of the pupils and raise their awareness.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is passionate about working with pupils dealing with complex needs, help encourage and provide support for pupils in order to motivate them to achieve.

As an SEN TA it is important to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff in order to help cater to the needs of the pupils.

SEN Teaching Assistants applying for this role will need:

* Support pupils with autism and challenging behaviour
* Provide personal care where necessary for students with PMLD
* Previous experience in an SEN setting would be ideal
* Completed relevant training such as PECS, Makaton, BSL, Autism awareness – training is desirable but not essential

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
