Vacancy: Lettings Coordinator

Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire 

Salary: Dependent on experience, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension scheme, after 12 months service you will also receive an annual bonus based on the company's performance. Petrol allowance

Hours: Full time

The Company: Our client is an Estate Agents based in Alfreton, Derbyshire which offers sound, professional advice on all aspects of selling, buying, letting and property management. 
There is currently an excellent opportunity for a Lettings Coordinator to join the team on a full time basis. 

The Role: Working within the busy rental department, the successful Lettings Negotiator will be responsible for fitting the right person to the right property. Your daily tasks will include dealing with various individuals and organisations, dealing with maintenance / repairs, carrying out inspections, and providing excellent customer service. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Working within the rental department 
• Dealing with contractors, landlords, tenants, the council and various different organisations
• Dealing with maintenance / repairs of properties 
• Carrying out property inspections
• Checking application forms
• Fitting the right person to the right property 

The Candidate: To be considered for the position of Lettings Coordinator, you must have previous administration experience and a good knowledge of property management. 2 years' previous experience in a similar role and an NFOPP Technical Aware in Residential Letting and Property Management qualification or similar would be advantageous, but isn't essential. You must have your own transport that you are willing to use for business purposes. 

Essential Candidate Criteria:

• Previous administration experience
• Good knowledge of property management
• Good standard of English
• Computer literate
• Good telephone manner
• Good customer service skills
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to work under pressure
• Own transport

Desirable Candidate Criteria:

• Knowledge of repairs / property management
• Some knowledge of legal implications of the rental business
• Background in property inspections and inventories 
• At least 2 years' previous experience in a similar role but full training will be giving
