Our client school in Stockport are looking for a Religious Education teacher for the new academic year in September 2018 due to a recent vacancy within the department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Religious Education teacher looking for their next full time RE post or an NQT looking for their first RE teaching position. Situated in the south Stockport area the school is well know for it’s outstanding academic achievement being in the top three performing schools in the borough. You will be given the opportunity to teach students Religious Studies who achieve higher then national averages and show respect to teachers and each other.

The post is full time delivering RE across KS3/KS4 so previous experience of this is essential. The school aren’t looking for someone who can deliver A level Religious Education within this particular timetable but the school does have a sixth form so there will be opportunities for the successful RE to do so in the future.

You will be well supported by a settled and experienced Humanities department that regular shares good practice and CPD opportunities. Religious Education teachers interested in this position will need to have QTS in the UK, school based references and a DBS certificate to be eligible for this post.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
