We are currently actively looking for an ER Advisor to join our team at our Head Office in Birmingham City Centre.


We're looking for an experienced ER Advisor to join our team to support in the review, development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and process guide. Providing HR policy and process advice where appropriate to all areas of the business and offering advice on numerous different sets of terms and conditions, contracts and various agreements



Main duties will include the following:


- Play a key role in developing, designing, implementing and launching automated processes on SharePoint


- Assist with change management programmes including restructures and TUPE transfersPlay a key role in ER/HR projects and initiatives such as absence reduction


- Lead on delivering an efficient ER Administrational service to the business


- Create and share guidance content on HR processes including intranet pages, forms, templates, instructions, hints & tips and frequently asked questions in order to ensure that information about company processes and tasks are shared with as many employees as appropriate


- Flexibility to cover other HR Admin processes and roles as required


- Share knowledge and train Admin team members and other employees on HR/ER processes


- Support ad hoc requests and all other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade and post


- ER administration, including but not limited to: processing variation of employment terms and conditions, processing leavers, family friendly policy processing, processing changes to personal details. Ensure paperwork is processed and new information is recorded


- Support in providing regular updates to the Management team on employment legislation and case law


- Raise requisitions and purchase orders via eFinance database


- Process trade union release requests, arrange and administer trade union elections


- Ensure that the Data Protection Act is correctly implemented in respect of HR records and files. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective practices


- Maintaining HR Team Annual Leave, Team movements and Status Returns
