This Milton Keynes based Marketing Agency is looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager on a 6-month contract to cover maternity leave. The business is keen to find the right person and can offer flexible working hours to suit the successful candidate and are willing to consider 9-3 (school hours) or full time. As a full-service agency, the role requires the post holder to understand all things digital marketing (websites, SEO, PPC, Social Media etc.) as well as PR and more traditional offline marketing techniques. Key aspects of the role Responsible for your own accounts, building strong relationships with your contacts Assist in the acquisition of new accounts by attending prospect meetings, writing winning proposals, producing presentations and attending pitches. Continued involvement with the client will be imperative to ensure their satisfaction so that you may identify and respond to any other requirements that they might have. Taking detailed briefs from clients to briefing into internal teams. Managing client’s expectations with regards to quotes and delivery of a project. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an account management position in a full service / digital marketing agency or, for the right candidate, client side. You should be highly organised and detail minded with the ability to manage multiple projects for multiple clients. If you have cross discipline experience and have worked with both B2B and B2C clients and a genuine passion for all things marketing to include both traditional marketing techniques as well as digital, then this could be the role for you. This is a Client facing role so you must be an outstanding communicator with excellent listening, presentation and negotiation skills and strong commercial awareness. This is a contract role paying £25,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience and is initially for a period of 6 months to cover maternity leave although there may be potential to extend the period at the end of the contract.
