Amazing Head Chef opportunity, working full time sociable hours no splits on a permanent basis, delivering the best ethically sourced freshly cooked Breakfast, Brunch and Lunchtime menu in Salisbury.

Each venue is a brilliant place to be and their ethos is to deliver good quality ingredients and produce like coffee's, tea's, customized traditional Breakfast menu items, alternative Brunch and Light Bites such as Spelt Granola to Smashed Avocado and Cheddar and Jalapeno Cornbread, through to traditional and customised mains, salads, soups etc and better than anyone else.
It is up to you to set the example and to make sure that your kitchen team is working with the Company goals, mission statement and ethos in mind. You can develop your team as you see fit, through constant training, development and coaching.
You will act as Kitchen Manager and make sure your team is multi-trained on various kitchen stations and versed in food preparation and fresh food cooking, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference producing ethical and sustainable meals for their local community and guests to enjoy.

Key Features of the Role:
You will manage a team of up to 8 staff members who will be responsible for baking fresh produce, making cakes, preparing all of the daily ingredients and garnishes, cooking every order from scratch on quick turnaround menu items, whilst ensuring you are never compromising on quality.
As a Head Chef you will be tasked with making sure that Guests have a great food experience, whether it be Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch.
Start time would be around 7:30 to get the prep started for the days service, with the restaurant open from 8am till 6pm Monday through till Saturday, and Sunday from 9am till 6pm.
You would have no split shift and would work 5 days a week roughly 45 hours per week, with paid breaks, free food, hot drinks etc.
You will need to show fairness, positivity, humour, resourcefulness, curiosity, determination and empathy, as well as supporting the ethical and sustainable top quality ingredients used.

Knowledge and Skills:
You must be an accomplished Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef and have a current fresh food background where you are used to preparing food every day, as well as cooking to order quick turn-around menu items.
You must have experience of managing a team of kitchen staff of various brigade levels.
You must have experience working on different work stations in a busy Fresh Food Restaurant or Kitchen. Caf� or Coffee / Tea House, Food Retail Outlet in the catering sector.
While you will be cooking from fresh every day you will not be creating new menu items or have a specials board but you will have a strong input into the menu design process.
You must be engaged with ethically sourced produce and the Companies desire to be the best at what it does.
