The school is a small one form entry ‘GOOD' primary school situated in the heart of Mossley (OL5) Most pupils are of White British heritage and the proportion of pupils with a disability or with special education needs is below average. The school prides it’s self on it’s improving & growing size, as well as being a forest school.

The school is looking for somebody who is passionate about raising pupil’s attainment and works well in their friendly, sociable team. The school is looking to become outstanding after the school has continued to increase in size over the last year. This small forest school is a incredibly friendly and enjoyable place to work with well thought out plans and decision making by a strong, organised senior leadership team and head teacher. This role will be a great opportunity to work with a supportive, efficient, welcoming staff team while developing excellent practice from outstanding teaching.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will:

* Lead full class teaching using the teachers planning.
* Be preparing and delivering learning activities for the pupil.
* Monitoring across attendance, behaviour and achievement.
* Responsible for providing support for students, teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils with behavioural needs. .

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
