Due to expansion our Client is looking to recruit an Asbestos and Legionella BID Manager to join their team.

The firm provides a full range of environmental services for local government, housing associations, universities, schools, national retailers, NHS trusts, the hotel and leisure industry, demolition and construction companies, manufacturing, logistics and commercial businesses.

The Role
The role will involve the sourcing, collation and submitting of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Invitation to Tender applications on behalf of the company.
Working closely with the Technical Managers and using a range of websites to identify suitable contract opportunities, the successful candidate will be responsible for making the initial applications, co-ordinating the project management of the bid process, overseeing the input from various teams, reviewing the information suitability and ensuring the highest standards of presentation within set deadlines. Additional responsibilities will include reviewing information, building a bidding information portfolio and collating and communicating feedback. Involvement and development into Sales and Marketing and the opportunity to undertake further qualifications will also be made available, to offer the successful candidate a varied and exciting role.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate must possess:
Knowledge of the Asbestos Industry is essential and the BOHS P402/ P405 (or equivalent) qualifications would be an advantage
Previous and proven experience of bid management or co-ordination
Commercial awareness
The ability to evaluate and analyse relevance of opportunities found
The aptitude to author technical specifications and bespoke answers with the support of the Technical and Quality team
Strong communication skills with excellent verbal and written skills
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
A good standard of education and excellent IT skills with experience of working on a variety of software packages and a proven and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
