The Role

We're currently looking for a Graduate Energy Settlements Analyst to join our team in Power Portfolio Management. The role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of energy and renewables invoice settlement and validation whilst, in line with our strategy of continuous improvement, review and develop accounting practise, energy settlement systems, processing and reporting. In this role, you'll also develop your experience around the technical settlement of energy costs and to provide a service and expertise to the Power Portfolio Management team and across the business.

You'll be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels around the business and work alongside other analysts and team members to deliver and achieve against requirements.

As our new Graduate Energy Settlements Analyst, you'll have a degree in Finance or related subject areas as well as proven experience of building effective relationships within a workplace environment and managing complex areas of accounting or finance work with a 'hands on' approach demonstrated. You'll have high numeracy and accuracy skills that will assist your reporting and analysis responsibilities.

The Ideal Graduate Energy Settlements Analyst

You'll be able to demonstrate good knowledge of management accounting and business analysis alongside strong IT/Microsoft Office skills. You'll also be a real team player with excellent initiative and communication skills, confident with decision making and a high degree of motivation and resilience.

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, experience or knowledge of the Electricity Market, Renewables and the Capacity market would be preferable but not essential.

The role will be based in Rochester with some travel therefore a full driving license is required.
