About the role

English Language or Literature Teacher

Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)

5 days a week

Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role

Creating interesting yet controlled lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Teachers will be expected to improve the students’ grades, helping them where needed, and will be able to control the class well.

There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student’s work. The school would also like teachers to be willing to conduct extra classes and put in more effort for their students.


The school is accessible via Southall station (10 minute walk).


A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching English at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
