South Norfolk Council has an exciting opportunity for an HR Service Manager to join the team based in Long Stratton, close to Norwich . You will join us on a full time, fixed term contract for 2 years, and you will be offered a competitive salary of £35,229 - £39,187 per annum. Innovation comes from those who take joy in their work! What you could be part of… Our busy HR department deals with a range of queries from employees, managers and the public. Putting customer service first we aim to exceed expectations and provide a quality service using technology as much as possible to aid performance. You would be joining us at an exciting time and be involved with developing a new recruitment portal and establishing a specialised service relationship with a third party to manage our HR system to its maximum potential. Key responsibilities of our HR Service Manager: - Driving transaction processes and change to aid efficiency - Improving and managing policies, processes and procedures - Using data to analyse performance and produce dashboard reports - Supporting on projects, restructures and employee relations work as required The ideal HR Service Manager will have the below skills and experience: - A CIPD qualification or demonstrate equivalent experience - A proven record in all areas of HR with a strong focus on recruitment, change management and data analysis. - It is important that you are a clear communicator who can instil confidence from the advice provided. - It is essential for this role that you have access to a car Benefits of becoming our HR Service Manager: - Employer pension contributions of 15% - Performance related pay up to 4% - 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time employees) - Flexi time - On site café - Compassionate leave and sickness entitlement for times of need As a Platinum Investors in People you will have regular reviews with your line manager and a personal development plan.
