Our global Automotive client based in Basildon, Dunton site is looking for a Program Delivery Engineer with good understanding of Agile development, products and systems EXCEL, SharePoint and Access experience.

Job Description:
• Program Champion Work with: Upstream Engineering to ensure the DSP Europe Program delivery requirements are understood and tracked at the correct level
• PD to ensure that requirements are met in all future programs (e.g. GPDS gateways)
• Global partners to jointly develop diagnostics plans for global vehicles. (E.g. DSP- North America) Research program cycle plans and future changes to ensure key deliverables for DSP-E/NA are identified and met for each program launch
• Assess and communicate requirements for diagnostic work to the team
• Compile and submit FIR data at appropriate gateways
• Liaise with TSO to align program plans Attend relevant program meetings (PMTs, UCS readiness, Global P&T etc)
• Investigate and develop Global process improvements to support DSP-E product deliverables Determine prototype vehicle specification and timing requirements
• Liaise with vehicle coordinator as required
• Order modules to support each functional area and ongoing test requirements
• Maintain a program status for each program taking input from global core tools teams, hardware teams, IT and Etis IDS diagnostics team
• Support Global Program review meetings and report status of diagnostics for programs in various forums, particularly in response to UCS requests
• Coordinate new program support for ETIS/ GFDRS/Etis IDS/ IDS Standard development through liaison with the diagnostics data and content teams and Suppliers / IT team as required
• Support the Planning, development, creation, qualification and maintenance of the Diagnostic content structures (for both Core tools and Symptom Based content) within Odyssey
• Global Translation coordination support ¿ progressing program set up for translation, translation delivery of resources, monthly invoice tracking and report generation, issues resolution and process Improvement

Skills Required:
• Self-motivated and action oriented, to proactively provide research and data, to discuss strategic issues around key deliverables and ensure action plans are in place for the team
• Advanced MS Excel, Access ¿ ability to further develop tools which manipulate and collate data for DSP reporting
• Advanced SharePoint creation and administration skills
• Maintain a strong process discipline at all times
• Outstanding communications skills that facilitate a professional interface with all DSP-E/NA customers and suppliers globally
• Strong drive and determination to deliver results and overcome obstacles

Experience Required:
• Automotive and Electronic control system design and development experience
• Experience with product planning and programs
• Working knowledge of Dealer Diagnostics tools - IDS Standard / FDRS/ ETIS IDS/ GFDRS
• Familiarity with the Odyssey content development and translation system

Education Required:
• Degree qualified Degree qualified: Electrical, Mechanical, IT or (Systems Engineering acceptable)

Additional Information:
• Training will be provided by the DSP Europe Program Planning team in the use of the current diagnostic team program tracking tools and the Odyssey system JC Notes
• CV’s to evidence Industry background Understanding of Agile development, products and systems EXCEL, SharePoint and Access experience
• Will be attending senior level meetings on program delivery
• Excellent communication skills as will be interfacing and reporting on different teams
• Minimal travel as mainly Webex based meetings
• Will be able to take very technical complex data and distil / translate the wordings into layman terms/easy understanding
• Delivery planning and timings
