A Primary School in Richmond Upon Thames are looking for an experienced full-time Primary Teacher for a KS2 position starting in September 2018. Applications are invited from excellent, enthusiastic teachers to join the school's successful and hard working team.

This is a friendly, thriving church school which has been judged by Ofsted to be 'Outstanding' in each of its previous two inspections. Their dedicated staff are committed to working as a team and as a result their children achieve high standards.

This is a temporary appointment and is expected to start September 2018 continuing on an ongoing basis, but is subject to the conditions of maternity absence. The post would be suitable for a recently qualified or an experienced teacher.

The school is looking for a classroom practitioner who can be supportive of the ethos of the school with:

* A clear understanding and vision for successful teaching in KS2.
* An ability to build good relationships with the pupils and to deal professionally and sensitively with parents.
* Good class control and organisational skills.
* High expectations of all pupils.
* Good understanding of planning and assessment strategies.
* An awareness of what constitutes an aesthetically and educationally stimulating environment.
* The ability to set clear, developmental learning targets for all pupils.
* A desire to provide creative and carefully planned curriculum to enrich the lives of all our pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
