Full time Teacher of English required for a Salford based Secondary school to cover a maternity leave throughout the academic year 2018-2019.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a mixed Secondary school based in Salford, Greater Manchester to appoint a outstanding Teacher of English to join their school ahead of September 2018. This role will be to cover a twelve month maternity leave within the department.

* Full time Teacher of English, covering a maternity leave, September 2018-2019.
* Salford based Secondary school, rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted.
* Must hold QTS - subject specific qualifications are essential. Both NQT’s and experienced English teachers are welcome to apply.
* Further experience delivering English across the Secondary Key Stages up to GCSE will be highly advantageous.
* Teacher of English pay in line MPS/UPS �22, 917 - �38, 633. Dependant upon experience.*

This diverse Salford Secondary school, with just over 800 pupils on roll, aged 11-16, has continued to develop under the dedicated guidance of its Senior Leadership Team. Teacher of English will be expected to;

* Plan, prepare and monitor class work, reporting back to Senior Leadership and taking appropriate action in the best interest of each individual pupil.
* Deliver dynamic English lessons, to engage pupils and raise attainment at all levels of learning, across the school board.
* Encourage a growth mind set, promoting a positive behaviour management strategy.
