About the Sales Administrator role:

Working alongside the Managing Director, the Sales Administrator will be responsible for following up new business opportunities identified by the board, improving the Company's market position and achieving financial growth.

The person will track and develop leads from the Belfast office setting up meetings as required for the Board or others to attend. The focus will be on targeting clients in the office, hotel and financial sectors whilst maintaining the market share in the sectors in which we are already well established.

Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:

* Organising sales visits for the teams in GB & ROI to attend
* Raising the profile of the company in the NI & ROI marketplace
* Liaising with Portview's internal contracts teams for leads & opportunities
* Updating presentations for tender and pitch purposes
* Establishing new business
* Maintaining accurate records
* Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, events and meetings when required
* Liaising closely with the Communications Manager to ensure an appropriate range of materials is at the company's disposal, assisting with award entries.
* Liaising closely with the Communications Manager to ensure business development activities are supported appropriately by the PR & Marketing efforts
* Responding to the needs of the company to present itself to new clients as appropriate
* Independently develop leads through cold calls/marketing, events & networking.
* Assisting in the creation of a Customer Relationship Management system for all the company's sales leads and the ongoing updating of such a system.

Requirements of the Sales Administrator:

Essential:

* Educated to degree level and/or at least three-to-five years of previous sales administration
* Be able to work independently and achieve set KPI's
* Good initiative and ability to work unsupervised to achieve successful outcomes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as a personable, confident and professional manner in making presentations, by phone or in person
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Strong on Microsoft office suite of products
* High degree of motivation, with a driving sense of responsibility, accountability and responsiveness
* Ability to work well with colleagues situated in multiple locations around the UK and Ireland, and be a team player
* Experience of a CRM system.

Desirable:

* Applied knowledge of best practice sales techniques, including negotiation, presentation skills and general communication
* Preferably with a background in the Fit-Out market
* Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining excellent client relationships.
