Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of their client Secondary school based in Manchester to appoint a dynamic Teacher of Science ahead of September 2018, due to a gap in their Science department.

* Full time Teacher of Science, starting from September 2018, Manchester based.
* 12 month fixed term position, opportunity to secure a permanent post.
* Must hold QTS alongside subject specific qualification.
* Both experienced teachers and NQT’s are welcome to apply – relevant support during the induction period will be provided.
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS �22,917 - �387,633. Experience dependant*

The incoming Teacher of Science will be fully supported in this developing school through the Senior Leadership, who pride themselves on having a strong staff team, who share good teaching practice and work collaboratively.

Science teaching responsibilities;

* Planning, preparing and delivering strong Science lessons, throughout Key Stages 3-4 and GCSE. Subject knowledge is essential*
* Motivate students to stay on task through inventive Science lessons in accordance to the Science curriculum.
* Strong behaviour management skills are highly desired.

This diverse Secondary school is based just a few miles from Manchester city centre and can easily be accessed via the M60 and the surrounding areas. There are also an abundance of public transport options available for those who do not drive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
