Level 3 Teaching Assistant with SEN experience.

A primary school in Dewsbury have come to Teaching Personnel to recruit a Level 3 teaching assistant who has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs. The role will consist of general teaching assistant duties in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including supporting with the delivery of class work and also helping create a positive learning environment in and out the classroom.

You will also be responsible for taking small group interventions with children of lower ability and Special Educational Needs. You will be taking groups for Maths, English and Phonics. You will have to make sure these children are remaining on task and fully understand what is expected of them. These children are going to be looking to you as their role model, so it important you can offer the continuity.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
