Bedford, Bedfordshire, UK Social Housing Planner/Scheduler- Social Housing Repairs (Temp to Perm) One of our social housing clients are looking to hire a Planner/Scheduler within their reactive repairs team in Bedford, Bedfordshire, on a temporary to permanent basis. Working within a fast paced office environment, you will be within a team of 4-5 and be responsible for the following: • Managing tradesmen`s diaries and assigning repair jobs to each tradesmen according to our clients SLA and within a set time frame. • PDA diary management and scheduling in repairs on on to our clients internal in-house system. • Liaising with residents to inform them of their appointments and as to the repairs needing carried out. • Updating residents on appointment changes and liaising with them on the telephone/email. • Raising jobs, opening jobs, closing completed jobs and reacting efficiently to emergency jobs. • General administration duties such as email correspondence, outlook management, use of excel spreadsheets and typing up and posting letters to residents and third parties. • Ordering materials on behalf of contractors and ensuring they are correct to the job in hand. • Call handling. Ideally you will have worked within a similar role and have a strong understanding of trades such as carpentry, plumbing,plastering and the housing sector as a whole. You will ideally be computer literate and attention to detail is key. You also must be able to deliver an excellent level of customer service at all time and be able to work to very tight deadlines. This role is temporary to permanent and we are looking for someone to join the team by the end of June 2018. This role is working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch paying up to £11.70 GBP per hour Umbrella or PAYE. Please note that the end salary on offer is between £23-24K PA DOE and completion of a 3 month probationary period.
