A large organisation are seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to produce fabricated products on time and to budget. They have a growing client base and the increasing workload has led to them expanding their team.

Key responsibilities will include

* Provide fabrication, welding skills on thin and thick plate or sectional products
* Provide occasional assembly and install of fabricated products to sites upon customer request in the UK and Europe
* Ensure safety is adhered to at all times
* Meet Quality Assurance standards required across a wide range of fabricated Products and Materials

This position will work closely with the design team, production supervisor, manufacturing manager within the company.

The company are looking for applicants who have/are:

* Time served Sheet Metal Worker/fabricator
* Ability to work with a wide range of materials including; steel, aluminium, stainless steel
* Experience of reading engineering drawings in 1st and 3rd angle projections
* Ability to cover drawing information into products
* Competent at marking off and sheet metal pattern development
* Able to weld in the following disciplines; TIG, MIG, MMA
* Ability to use Plasma cutters, free hand Oxy-acetylene burning, gas welding/brazing
* Able to use the full range of fabrication shop machinery including, but not limited to Spot Welders, Stud welders, Power rolls, fly press, notchers, hand grinders
