Do you have proven Sales or Account Management experience? Pukka Pads are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Retail Account Manager to join our team.

In return for your hard work as our Retail Account Manager, you will receive a salary of £30,000 per annum (DOE) as well as working in an open, friendly environment, and a chance to build a long-term rewarding career with us.

The Role:

The role will require 2-3 days a week visiting clients in the Midlands/North with at least one day a week will be in Poole Dorset Head Office. We are looking for an Account Manager to establish strong relationships with all retailers' headquarters staff to help deliver a strong, professional relationship within the account, shaping strategies to grow sales, profits, and increase market share. Key responsibilities include:

- Attend regularly sales meetings, split across 3 sites, Poole Head Office, Yorkshire Factory and Lutterworth DC.
- Attend shows and exhibitions in the UK and Europe
- Develop and manage new and existing profitable business, measured against annualised sales and margin budgets.
- Take full responsibility of all aspects of Account Management
- Maximise revenue and profit opportunities from the sale of both core products and product growth initiatives
- Communicate effectively with the customer ensuring that information is communicated both to and from the customer in a timely and relevant way
- Work closely with Sales Director to ensure a high level of customer service.

The Ideal Retail Account Manager:

You will have proven experience in a sales environment and possess excellent (verbal and written) communication and negotiation skills with an ability to build and maintain business relationships. You must also have:

- Presentation and negotiation skills
- Positive outlook with a problem solving and "can do" attitude
- Knowledge of Excel, word, PowerPoint and internal systems and databases
- A proven record of success in a sales environment
- Ideally some experience in FMCG / stationery categories
- A good level of presentational skills
- Ability to display sound judgement and clear decision making
- Full driving licence and willingness/ability to travel.
