LOCATION: Preston, Lancashire 
JOB TITLE: Office & Accounts Administrator 
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary dependent on previous experience 
WORKING HOURS: Part Time – 3 Days per week Monday to Friday (Flexible working hours)

THE COMPANY/ROLE: Our client have been an established HGV/PSV garage in Preston, Lancashire for over 10 years and pride themselves on a high standard of service and friendly customer approach, providing service agreements to tailor each of their customer's requirements. 

Our client now seeks an enthusiastic, experienced and highly organised Office & Accounts Administrator to joint their existing customer service & accounts team in a small but busy office. Your duties will be to help out with a range of general office/accounts admin duties in a fast paced reactive environment. The role is a part time position, three days a week with an initial 3 month trial. 

Key Duties for the Office & Accounts Administrators role :-

- Customer invoice and preparation 
- Month end procedure 
- Posting of invoices and payments into Sage
- Booking MOT's and providing general Customer Service 
- General office/admin support duties on an ad hoc basis

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Office & Accounts Administrators vacancy must be an organised individual who has suitable experience in a busy and fast paced office environment and have experience using Sage or similar accountancy software. You must have excellent communication skills and have a clear and polite telephone manner. It is essential candidates can work well under pressure in a fast paced reactive environment and can adopt a flexible approach to their duties and tasks. Candidates must live in or be able to commute to Preston, Lancashire 

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Office & Accounts Administrators role :-

- Must have Good IT skills and be computer literate
- Experience using Sage or similar accountancy software essential
- Ability to use initiative when required and ability to work under pressure essential 
- Excellent communication skills essential 
- Experience in a similar busy office environment essential 
- Must live in commutable distance to Preston, Lancashire
