THE COMPANY: Ongoing investment in its team, its products, its markets and its systems has been a major factor in establishing our client as the highly successful market leader in its field. They are now looking for a Helpdesk Administrator to join their team in Rushden.

THE ROLE:As Helpdesk Administrator , you will join a small team of highly technical, customer focused engineers who provide technical support both to customers and the team of service engineers. You will take personal responsibility for developing and administering a range of Helpdesk related systems and producing management reports. You will also respond to requests for assistance from field engineers and liaise with the Customer Services team to provide customer solutions. In addition, you will be involved with the management of spare parts and the production of installation kits.

This is a varied role in a busy, technical, customer focused environment. You will play a key part in the smooth running of the service department.

This role offers the opportunity to develop engineering/technical skills as you develop in the role.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful Helpdesk Administrator will need excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills. Experience of working with Microsoft Office is vital and previous experience of using an electronic job management system is preferred.

Attention to detail will be a very important part of this role as will be a willingness to participate as a member of a team dedicated providing excellent customer service.

This role would suit a strong administrator with a focus on customer service. Experience working for a company in the manufacturing / production or a technical industry would be an advantage but is not essential.

Key experience essential for the Helpdesk Administrator role:

- Live within a commutable of Rushden
- Minimum of 3 years customer service experience
- Previous administration experience
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office packages
- Experience in a technical / service environment would be advantageous but not essential
